Yaya has been officially discharged! Yaya, Yoyo, and Pely are checking out of the hotel and are on their way home. I don't have any information beyond that - but it's good news!
I'd like to add a reminder that Yaya is still not able to receive visitors. Her immune system is really suppressed so that it doesn't reject the new kidney. Even though she may feel fine, she's likely to get sick very easily. So we would appreciate it if everyone could hold off on visiting for a few months. Once she's back home, she'll be back on the computer and on the phone. That'll have to do for now!
Thanks everyone or all the prayers and support during this past week. The next few weeks will be all about recuperating. There will be a lot of back and forth to the clinic in Charleston as well. Continued prayers are appreciated!
